The cabinet is made from thick iron plate, stiffened and reinforced in the critical areas to form a strong construction suitable to heavy-duty operations.
The shot-peening machine is painted with a prime coat of rust inhibitor and two coats of wear resistant baked epoxy powder. Colour is Ral Beige 7032.
• Operating dimensions of the shot-peening cabinet
700 mm wide x 500 mm long x 500 mm high
The shot-peening machine is complete of:
• Vacuum meter allowing to control the aspiration in the cabinet. The process is inhibited by the vacuum meter if, for any reason, the rate of aspiration is inadequate to the process (clogged filters, defective performance of the aspirator, damaged pipes).
• Two (2) side access doors to the cabinet. The blade profile of the door ensures a dustproof configuration to the unit. A safety limit switch is provided for proper door locking control. Commutation does not depend on the action of an internal spring: the contacts are changed over through a mechanical movement actuated by a special starting key.
• One pair of long gauntlets
• Inspection window complete of:
• Shatterproof glass (it cracks without shattering) with a standard glass sheets to protect the shatterproof glass against the abrasive. Both glass sheets are designed for ease and quick replacement without special tools)
• Quartz-iodine lamp - 24 V, 150 W located outside the working area. The working area is
lightened through a special toughened glass window.
• Sandblasting aluminium gun, complete of injector and nozzle made from hard metal
• Blow-off gun
• Electric aspirator 0,75 HP
Compressed air consumption: 650 lt/min at 6 bars
Power absorption: 800 Watt
Capacity: 125 kg maximum

The auxiliary low-tension controls are located on the inside of the machine.
Voltage: 380/220 three-phase 50 Hz
Electric circuit in conformity with CEI EN 60204-1 regulations. The system design prevents the machine from restarting automatically after a shutting off of power in the electrical transmission system.
