Magnesium Aluminum Silicate products are naturally occurring water-washed smectite clays used worldwide to stabilize emulsions and suspensions and to thicken a wide range of products.


Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is white power, non-toxic, odorless tastless. it can dispersed in water and have good thixotropy and stability. It's rather compatible with alcohols and high-ploarity solvents such as glycerol and sorbite. when put in water in can dispersed quickly and form translucent thixotropic gel. it has good thixotropy and stability.


Magnesium Aluminum Silicate (MAS) is used as a rheological modifier and binder in many pharmaceutical and cosmetic preparations.

APPLICATIONS：
Pharmacuticals - High purity MAS conforming to the National Formulary are used as thickeners, binders and suspending agents in a wide variety of pharmaceutical applications such as, tablets, acne creams and lotions, analgesic creams, anti-diarrheal suspensions, etc.


Cosmetics / Personal Care - High purity MAS is used as a thickener and suspending agent in sunscreen preparations, facial creams and masks, hair care products, make-up preparations, hand and body lotions, shaving creams, anti-persperants, toothpastes, etc.
