VARDHMAN THREADS is a division of VARDHMAN TEXTILES LTD/VARDHMAN GROUP [ATO: US$ 470 million]. The division has 17 offices more than 200 sales people, over 5000 dealers and number of direct customers spread across the length and breadth of India. Four factories having total capacity of 25 tons per day supplying the divisions for its Sewing Thread requirements. Vardhman Threads today is a Second Largest Sewing Thread manufacturer in India with expected annual revenue over US $ 75 million.
The Indian Sewing Thread Industry can be divided into the following main segments :-
1. Industry: which further can be broken up into - Knits/Woven/Exports, Domestic, etc.
2. Leather footwear, Leather apparels, Automotive upholstery and Special applications.
